I think its efficient, I think it makes sense, and I think Im learning beer than I would if I were in school. I love that I get to work on my me and it really feels like I m in charge of my educaon. Friday Night Lights

We will once again celebrate our seniors

this Friday night at 20:20 (8:20 p.m.) by

taking a moment to #BeTheLight.

RHS Finance Club

This spring, the RHS Finance Club participated in the Council for Economic Education's National Economics Challenge. RHS fielded 6 teams with 21 students in total.

RHS students Annabel Mendoza, Olivia Jerdee, Ted An, and Alex Jerdee received an incredi-ble perfect score in the first round competi-tion; answering all 120 questions correctly. This magnificent group only narrowly missed winning the State Championship due a tie-breaker with another excellent team from Chatham High School. For Annabel Mendoza and Olivia Jerdee (President and Vice President), this perfect per-formance wraps up three years of unprecedented participation and leader-ship in the RHS Finance Club. This duo led RHS to its first appearance in the Euro Challenge Semifinals during their sophomore year, and the school's highest finish in the Fed Challenge (2nd Place) during their junior year. While their team qualified for Fed Challenge semifinals this March, the competition was cancelled due to COVID, so we'll never know what could have been.

To Annabel and Olivia, thank you for all you have given to RHS Finance Club over these last three years. You have set the bar appropriately and exceptionally high for future RHS students!

As a school, RHS secured 2nd, 8th, 10th, 13th, 16th, and 17th place among the Top 50 teams in New Jersey. This is a VERY IMPRESSIVE showing, as this competition is VERY COMPETITIVE (especially in a quarantine when everyone is at home.) Congratulations to these magnificent students on their success in the Economics Challenge competition!
