The People vs Columbus
DEFENDANTS- when suspects are in court, they are called “defendants” or “the accused”JURY- the group of people (usually 12 people) who decide if a defendant is guilty or innocent
PROSECUTER-the lawyer who works for the government and argues for the people

How the trial will work
• I, the prosecutor will say what you are accused of.
• You, the defender present your defense.• The jury, people picked from the crowd will be
allowed to ask you questions.
