Artwork submitted through art teacher or by student (please provide art teacher or other teacher contact information.)

Submit artwork (2-D frameable) interpreting one or more of three exhibition themes. Please note: two different deadlines

Fill out and attach application form (see over) for each artwork submitted, including short written piece about artwork. Photo-copy application forms if needed.

What is the Student Art Program (SAP)?

Exhibitions: ArtsConnection’s Student Art Program curates and mounts exhibitions that showcase artists in grades 6-12 from New York City public schools. Exhibitions of selected artwork are hosted in spaces in New York City with an opening recep-tion for artists and their guests. Awards: Each exhibiting artist and their teacher re-ceives a $100 gift certificate from Blick Art Materials or B&H photo. Framed art is returned to student. Opportunities: This school year we will host eight exhibitions of over 450 student artworks!
