B. External Process
a). Email correspondence with HFCS (program
coordinator : Ms. Eileen) which includes :
Negotiating the number of participants (which was
originally 2 students then increased to 4 and then the
final for 6 students)
Placement (search host family that will accept the
students from Darunnajah)
Setting daily schedule of activities for Darunnajah
students during their stay
Setting formal meetings between Darunnajah Principal
(Mr. Sofwan Manaf) with The Headmaster of HFCS (Mr.
Bentley) to renew the MoU
b). Contacting some relation :
Indonesian Embassy in London (setting the meeting
with The Ambassador ; Mr. Teuku Mohammad Hamzah
Thayeb, and Education Attache ; Mr. T. A. Fauzi
Soelaiman)
Media (BBC London with Ms. Endang Nurdin,
ANTARA News with Ms. Zeynita Gibbons and some local
media in Indonesia and in England)

THE OUTPUT
For Darunnajah :
Increasing mutual understanding between both school
(culture, social life, religion, the environment, food and
weather)
Increasing teacher confidence ; in teaching, flexible
when facing some guest from abroad (west or east), and
so on
Enthusiasm the students of joining the program
(Student Exchange)
Recognized by the public and some government
agencies, that Pesantren Darunnajah able to maintain
good relations with other countries (especially with the
western countries)
For HFCS :
Affect of some students behavior, they more polite and
do not have negative mind about Islam anymore
HFCS has just received recognition from ISA
(International Studies Abroad) as an International
School
Increasing the interest of Muslims people around
Keighley to study in HFCS
The teachers who have visited Indonesia, know that
Indonesia is NOT ONLY Bali
