Please describe anyhardships you faced whichprevented you from studyingin a university in the past.

Cost and Schedule made me drop out of universities twice in the past decade. When Isecured tuition funds, it was not possible to go to school because I had to work fulltime. Schedules didn't match up. When I thought I had time, I could not secure anyfunds. UoPeople have solved these all at once. Online means maximum flexibility, andtuition free means, most fordable. Where else can the two come in one bundle?

How would you describeUoPeople to a friend or familymember?

UoPeople is the first and so far the only University that truly offers free tuition to itsstudents.

What is your favorite thingabout studying at UoPeople?What is your least favoritething?

Been part of the international group and collaborate with peers across the global atalmost real time. Unlike in social media, this collaboration is the most meaningful Icould ever be part of: working towards my degree!

My last favorite thing was the application process. It was so demanding and it took somuch and so long to get accepted.

Am a farther of two, with residence in two nations (Tanzania and USA). Earned andAssociate Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering in 1995, andworked in computer networking for 15 years. Have tried to go back to school twice(Electrical Engineering) but dropped out. In 2013 joined Wichita State University(Computer Engineering), currently a Junior standing. In 2014 got admission atUoPeople (Computer Science, but later switched to Business Administration). Lastterm I took a total of 17 credit hours in both Universities, while working 29 hours aweek and supporting the family. It is an experience I will not advice any student toattempt.
