    My pledge to you:

To always listen to your concerns and do my best to

deal quickly with matters that you bring to myattention.

I will be honest, open and transparent at all times. I

am happy to explain my actions and be accountable.

I became an Independent because I felt that nationalparty politics have lost touch with the needs of ourlocal communities. I strongly believe that anIndependent voice is needed. I will continue to work

hard in partnership with communities, groups andindividuals who make a positive local contribution.

I will ALWAYS put Richmond FIRST.

THANK YOUI would like to thank everyone who has been in touch, forall of your positive feedback and support regarding mydecision to become an Independent Councillor.

You all know my commitment to Richmond and to all of the

residents of our wonderful Town. You also know that I willcontinue to fight for the whole community in the face ofdevastating cuts in services from the Coalition Government.

The Benefits of an Independent Council:

    Your Local Independent Candidate

    Working hard for Richmond

Independent Led RDC34 Councillors 24 wards

    Member Allowance - 2900Leader - 7430

    Total Allowances - 117,745Senior Managers - 297,000

    Tory Led HDC44 Councillors - 30 wards

    Member Allowance - 4297Leader 20,412

    Total Allowances - 258,017Senior Managers 457,000

If the Tories in Hambleton, which Richmondshire Toriesseem so keen to copy, really wanted to save the taxpayers money they could simply have voted to reduce

their own excessive allowances instead of wasting a

further 250,000 ofour money by asking the BoundaryCommission to do the job for them.common sense?

I have always voted to against increasingallowances especially when council tax needs to bekept low says Stuart
