E-Notification and Registered e-Postal Items Project

The aim of this project is to deliver on-line the legal notifications and other letter mail items to the addressees electronically after the registration. Also, studies are in progress in order to establish a legal base for this project.

According to the agreement signed between the parties, after the legal process is completed, this project will be implemented.

UPT: Cheap Money Transfer between PTT and Banks in Turkey through a bank with which PTT has a protocol.

Loan Applications: PTT gives loan on behalf of a bank to its own staff and the citizens receiving their salaries from PTT.

POSTAL OPERATION COUNCIL(POC: The Postal Operations Council (POC) is the technical and operational mind of the UPU and consists of 40 member countries and meets annually at the UPU’s headquarters in Berne. Turkey was elected to the member of POC for the period of 2012-2016)

ASSOCIATION OF EUROPEAN PUBLIC POSTAL OPERATORS(POSTEUROP is established in 1993, PostEurop today has 52 members represent 2.1 million employees across Europe. PostEurop is also an officially recognised Restricted Union of the Universal Postal Union (UPU))

COUNCIL OF ADMINISTRATION(CA: The Council of Administration (CA) consists of 41 member countries and meets annually at UPU headquarters in Berne. Turkey was elected to the member of CA for the period of 2012-2016 )

UNIVERSAL POSTAL UNİON (UPU: Universal Postal Union (UPU) was established in 1874 and its headquarters in the Swiss capital Berne. Today 192 countries are members of UPU.)

THE EUROPEAN CONFERENCE OF POSTAL AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS ADMINISTRATIONS (CEPT: was established in 1959 by 19 countries. We were among them. Today 48 countries are members of CEPT.)

EURO-MEDİTERRANEAN PARTNERSHİP (EUROMED: was established in 2010. Today 14 countries are members of EUROMED. General Secretariat of the Union is carried out by Italy. )


INTERNATIONAL POSTAL SYSTEM (IPS)

The Postal Technology Centre of the UPU in cooperation with several postal enterprises around the world developed the International Postal System (IPS) in 1995.

IPS is an integrated international mail management application that combines mail processing, operational management and EDI messaging into one application.

IPS provides a means for postal enterprises to have an accurate and comprehensive view of their mail movement covering every point between origin and destination, including transit offices of exchange, international carriers, and handling through Customs.
