Martin & Associates in Los Angeles in 1953, he began work on the firm’s first large project – The Fremont Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Since that start, John A. Martin & Associates and its affiliated offices have grown to one of the largest and most highly respected structural engineering firms in the country. The corporation’s network includes 9 offices throughout the United States and the portfolio of work reflects its significant contribution to the nation’s built environment, completing structural and civil designs for an annual average of 60 million square feet of new construction worldwide; as well as the firm’s well deserved reputation for providing the highest quality structural and civil engineering services. Roles and Responsibilities The intern will work with different engineers on a variety of projects 20 hours a week, depending on students’ course load. The goal is to work toward full-time employment giving the student tuition reimbursement. Qualifications and Education Requirements Must have completed first two years of college.
