COMMERCIAL MARINE | STRETCHERS AND SHOCK LINE / TOW BRIDLES APPLICATIONS SWOS | SYNTHETIC ROPE SPECIALISTS Stretchers and Shock Lines SWOS has been fabricating synthetic rope shock lines, or sometimes called stretchers, for close to 30 years. We utilize premium components, from 100% Nylon ropes, mostly made in the USA, to Heavy Duty Towing Thimbles, sized for the right application and Wide Mouth Towing Shackles. Nylon stretchers are load rated, tagged, and matched to the required breaking strengths specified by the client, normally based on towline strength and bollard pull rat- ings of the towing vessel. Stretchers are available in sling leg or grommet (endless) configurations. Custom chafing gear is available upon request. Tow Bridles SWOS’s High Performance synthetic tow bridles are ideal for offshore towing. Their buoyant, lightweight features make them much easier to lift, install and deploy. SWOS provides custom chafe pro- tection to withstand the rough offshore environment, and our in-house design experts can walk you through the entire design process. Critical lengths, rugged, and in accordance with industry requirements and regulations.

Emergency Tow System (ETS)SWOS’s ETS are designed with the vessel or
platform operator in mind.
Packaged in a manner which ensures a quick and easy deploy-ment, while utilizing the smallest possible tote to ensure they utilize minimal deck space and meet all Coast Guard require-ments. Among other things, our kits include towlines, messen-ger lines, and a lighted retrievable buoy. They are lightweight for ease of handling yet strong and durable to withstand high tow capacities and challenging conditions the offshore world may present.
