With Eurospan® by Conwed, now virtually any wall or ceiling can have outstanding acoustic performance combined with the modern look of a stretch fabric system.

As an alternative acoustic solution to the traditional look of fabric-covered panels, Eurospan® by Conwed can be custom designed to meet any space requirements. Our stretch wall and ceiling systems consist of four elements:

• High-performance integrated acoustical fiberglass core.

• Patented tensioning track arranged around the perimeter of the acoustical core.

• Acoustically-transparent textile, stretched seamlessly over areas up to 16’ wide (the largest available in the industry).

• Installation by trained professionals.

The result is a monolithic surface with outstanding acoustic performance. Eurospan® by Conwed merges unobtrusively with the interior design just as it blends with the architect’s imagination and the building owner’s needs.

With our exclusive Eurospan® by Conwed wall system textiles, large surfaces can be finished in one continuous piece of fabric (up to 16' x 50') without any seams.

Ceilings of 16’ x 50’ or more can be covered seamlessly. Larger areas can be seamed almost invisibly or installed with reveals to highlight the seams if desired.

Eurospan® by Conwed offers high definition printing on both our wall and ceiling systems. We can print amazingly-detailed images seamlessly up to 16' x 50'. Combining our custom textile treatments offers the interior designer a universe of creative choices.

Eurospan® by Conwed has the ability to transmit light and be cut into shapes without compromising the integrity of the fabric. Creative wall and ceiling features can be designed into any interior scheme. Eurospan® textiles can be used as unique space dividers

or custom backdrops. A textile ceiling cloud can turn harsh overhead lighting into a soft, inviting accent. Wall treatments can be designed with hidden backlighting for unique interior design elements.

Acoustic performance

As Eurospan® by Conwed works beautifully, it also

works effectively. Behind the acoustically-transparent textile,

1” to 2” thick fiberglass core panels have an NRC rating near

or above 1.00. Plus, because the textile is acoustically-

transparent, speakers can be cleverly hidden from view

without inhibiting sound clarity.

Eurospan® by Conwed also has a Class A fire rating and meets or

exceeds fire hazard classification 25/50 in accordance with ASTM

E84. Eurospan® textiles have a 0 flame-spread and 5 smoke-

developed rating. The standard white textile also has a light

reflectance of .75 to .80.

Eurospan® by Conwed can utilize a variety of Conwed acoustical cores; some that are eligible to bear the Green Cross label for recycled content. Some acoustical cores are certified on average to contain at least 57% recycled content and are certified Greenguard Gold for low VOC.

For LEED® projects, our acoustical panels can help you qualify for recycled content points under the Materials and Resources section. Other LEED® categories may also apply depending upon the project requirements.

Textile integrityEurospan® by Conwed can easily accommodate circular openings of almost any size or shape. Our patented textile uses a locking knit-weave technique that ensures textile integrity over the entire stretched surface. This means cutting out for vents, lights, sprinklers, and other penetrations is never a problem.

Eurospan® by Conwed makes it easy to maintain a beautiful ceiling or wall. The textile can simply be vacuumed if needed and common cleaning agents can be used for spot removal. The textile can even be removed, cleaned, and reinstalled in certain cases.
