Q: You are on your way home from a friends house at night, you will get into trouble for being late, do you take the short cut through the unlit alley?

Q: You are getting a bus back from town at night. There are a lot of drunk people on the bus, there are empty seats behind the driver, but you always sit at the back, where do you sit?

Q: The taxi arrives to pick you up but, as you are getting in, you realise the driver has not asked who the taxi is for.

What do you do?

Q: Your mate has taken you to his local park, then gone off. You feel awkward as you don’t know the other people. They are looking at each others MP3 players, then someone asks you what MP3 player you’ve got, what do you do?

Q: You are at a party, and an older teen who you don’t know offers you an open bottle of beer, what do you do?

In over 1 in 5 personal robberies the victim is aged between 11-20.

Nearly ¼ of 10-15 yr olds have been the victims of assault on more than one occasion.

In over 2 in 5 personal robberies mobile phones were stolen and in 12% of mobile robberies the victim was using the phone or had it openly displayed.

In a survey 5 out of 10 young people who said they had been the victim of a crime, had not told anybody about it at the time.
