Three strategies to preserve and develop the green infrastructure

Berlin Strategy for Biodiversity - aims on preservation of habitats, ecosystems, species and their genetic resources in balance with the city’s expansion and development Urban Climate Development Plan - focuses on bio climate in the settlement area, greenery and open spaces, water quality and heavy rains as well as climate protection Urban Landscape Strategy - focuses on the subjects of climate change and the city using its resources efficiently, demographic change and cultural variety, new social trends, such as the Do-it-Yourself culture, the merging of urban and rural lifestyles and a changed type of mobility
