TOMRA Sorting SOLVENCY

• Total revenue growth (organic plus inorganic) CAGR of ~28% per year from 2004-2019• Average annual organic

growth for the same period was ~16%

• Technology base and segment & application knowledge expanded both through acquisitions and in-house ventures.

STRONG REVENUE GROWTH SINCE INCEPTION IN 1996

We are collecting the glass in our trash can.

We are sorting the glass in our Single Stream MRFs.

We can clean the glass and have more than 97% purity.

Why don’t we recover and reuse it?

AUTOSORT LASER

10

• Independent background system • Simultaneous single-point detection • Glass vs. transparent polymer recognition • Fully flexible sensor configuration • Unique mechanical design built for highest

safety standards

PROCESS OPTIONS

12

Feeding of MaterialFrom wherever glass is removed via trommel,

disc screen, glass breaker etc.

Size SeparationUsing a vibratory deck or trommel

Density SeparationUsing air vacuum and/or blower

Paper, bottles, cans, etc... Fines, small shredded paper

Glass pieces, ceramic, stones, etc

Shredded paper, plastic, etc.

+2’’ (±50mm) ¼-⅛ ’’ minus (±6.35-3.17mm)

Sample B; after Size Separation

Sample C; after Density Separation

For all tests was the same sorting logic… Due to the high amount of glass in all samples all impurities were ejected positively from the single stream by using an

AUTOSORT LASER system.

OPTION A: GLASS SAMPLE AFTER GLASS BREAKER*Before sorting the sample 1 was screened at 0.25” Inches (6.3 mm) to remove fines and dust from the input.

CONCLUSION

AUTOSORT LASER 1200 (4-5 ton/h)

• Any plant up to 30 ton/h input (±16% Glass inside)

AUTOSORT LASER 1800 (6-7 ton/h)

• Any plant up to 50 ton/h input (±16% Glass inside)
