a. Internal organizational structure: create the optimal financial organizational structure

b. Financial sustainability for the academic program mix: develop and implement a financial sustainability review process

c. Institutional authority and control of tuition: report on regional and differential tuition rates

d. New revenue streams: develop strategies to expand all revenue streams

e. Athletics: promote attendance and support ULM athletics teams while maintaining a balanced budget

a. Definition and measurement of vision: develop performance metrics for the terms top 200 universities in the nation, and excellence in teaching, research, and innovation

b. Operational performance and continuous improvement cycle: annually review and report on continuous improvement cycles throughout the university

c. Communication and marketing plan: implement and annually review and report on a communication and marketing plan

d. Acknowledgement of achievement: implement an employee recognition program

a. Student/academic support services: improve advising, enrollment management processes, and student advocacy

b. Critical skills needed by students: identify skill sets for academic and workforce success

c. Long-term relationships: improve university communication over the range from prospect to alumnus and improve alumni commitment to the university

d. Technology: implement best practices in IT, including sustainability and support to academic and student services

a. Academic program portfolio: implement an academic program review process

b. Academic infrastructure: provide support for high-quality faculty

c. Targeted student population: implement a marketing and recruitment plan to approach and maintain program capacity levels

d. Pedagogical strategies: implement active-learning pedagogical strategies

e. Online instruction: become the institution of choice for post-traditional learners within 100 miles of Monroe

f. Research: increase the revenue stream

g. Graduate enrollment: attain SREB Four-Year 2 status and increase enrollment
