Stove Options

Here are our recommended stoves, ranges and wood fired water heaters for use in the Albion range of tents.

We always recommend using a fireguard for safety reasons. We also recommend you purchase and fit smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and fit according to the

manufacturer’s instructions.

All the stoves listed here will need to be commissioned by a qualified fitter before use.

The Firefox 5 & 8 Stove and Tent Hearth.

With a smart, clean look the Firefox 5 is an easy to use cast iron stove with glass

front and air wash system to reduce sooting on the glass. It has an output of around 5kw when burning wood (It does burn coal but this is not recommended in tents).

The Firefox 5 has a classic look making it suitable to fit into a wide variety of decorative interiors. Inside the stove has firebricks, a grate and a baffle plate and is a

well-built all round stove with primary and secondary air controls.

Flue supplied as standard is twin wall stainless steel as illustrated in the right picture.

The stove is pictured on our simple hearth system incorporating a back plate to keep combustible material safe, and a flue support.

The Loven 8 Wood Burning Range

The Loven 8 is a locally produced wood burning range that has proved very popular

with Tsavo owners. Producing plenty of heat to warm the Tsavo and with the added benefit of having hot plates and a manually temperature regulated oven for home

baking, roasts and all the other essential meals when camping! It comes complete with heat shielded rear and right side for standard layouts in the Tsavo

and is available with steel hearth plate and fire guards for safety. It is recommended that the kitchen unit when placed behind the stove has a fire proof panel fitted.

The Lucky 13 Wood Burning Range

The Lucky 13 is the little sister to the Loven 8 at about 2/3rds the size of the Loven 8 its ideal for fitting into the Amboseli or other smaller tents. It comes with a manual

regulator for the oven temperature, and easy access panels to clean the inside of the stove.

Its standard height is 640mm but can be raised on a higher base for easier cooking.

The Romantica Wood Burning Range

The Romantica a great little cooking range at an extraordinarily reasonable price. This

stove is perfect for your summer house, cabin, or just as a budget wood cooking stove for a kitchen. The Romantica wood cooker stove gives out around 6kW of heat

and has a large hotplate for cooking, an oven for baking, and a storage drawer under the oven for oven dishes or whatever you want. The Romantica 4.5 is a dedicated

wood burner and comes in a choice of colours.

The Coromandel Wood Burning Water Heater

The Coromandel wood burning water heater is an ‘on demand’ style water heater. Once the fire has been lit it only takes 10 minutes for it to be ready then turn the

water flow on, the faster the water flows, the cooler the output is. The water must flow out through a zero pressure shower head with no inline taps, or straight into a

bath. There is a temperature gauge on the stainless tank and it is pressure rated to 3 bar for safety, and has a pressure safety release system.

Please Note:- If you purchase a stove from us we will fit the stove as part of the installation charge, however you will need to have the stove checked and certified by a qualified stove installation company. If you purchase a stove from another supplier you will need to arrange to have that stove fitted.
