Licenced for civil wedding ceremonies Storrs Hall allows you to host your entire day in one

location. From the romantic outdoor pavilion to the grandeur of the historic hall,

you will have a choice of beautiful locations to say ‘I do’.

The Georgian Drawing Room provides an elegant setting for your ceremony. Natural light

floods through the beautiful large windows, allowing you and your guests to enjoy breathtaking

views over the landscaped grounds and Lake Windermere.

If you love the outdoors you might wish to hold your wedding ceremony in the Garden

Pavilion. Looking out over the lake with the fells providing a timeless backdrop, the Pavilion

is arguably one of the best outdoor wedding settings in the Lake District.

After your ceremony enjoy your drinks reception on the lawn or in the unique

Reception hall with its stained glass rotunda.

Stunning architecture, lawns that sweep down to the lakeshore, woodland walks, the Temple of Heroes and

a jetty provide a multitude of opportunities for your wedding photography.

Taking our Exclusive Use package allows you to hire this very special historic mansion, giving you sole use

of the hotel and grounds, as well as flexibility with timings for your special day. This package is available

for up to 80 guests for the ceremony and reception, and up to 110 guests* for the evening reception. Turn

your wedding into a private house party, with all 30 bedrooms reserved for you and your guests.

• Three course wedding breakfast, followed by tea, coffee and petit fours. We have a selection of menu suggestions to help you choose your perfect meal

• Toastmaster Service – A member of the hotel’s management team will act as your toastmaster if required

• Drinks package per person includes a reception drink following the ceremony, half a bottle of house wine with the wedding breakfast and a glass of Prosecco with the toast

• For the reception we provide Chiavari wedding chairs and white table linen

• Complimentary use of; cake stand, cake knife, menus and place cards if required

• Use of 30 en-suite bedrooms, including full English breakfast the following morning

• Evening reception with hot sandwiches. Option to upgrade to a hot buffet

Our Intimate Day Wedding Package is perfect for smaller weddings parties of up to thirty

people. We believe every wedding day is unique and this package gives you the flexibility to

choose which elements to include. Our wedding co-ordinator will work with you to ensure the

day is tailored to your wishes.

very different 4 Star country house hotel.

Our bridal suite is our largest and finest room. Situated on the west corner of the hall it

enjoys two different, but equally spectacular views of Windermere. Imagine the morning of

your wedding sipping a chilled glass of Champagne and enjoying uninterrupted views down

the lake as you prepare for your big day.

All of our 30 en-suite bedrooms have recently been refurbished and no two are the same.

Some have separate lounge areas, others have bay windows overlooking the lake but all have

luxurious fittings and contemporary bathrooms.

Situated in its own grounds on the shoreline of Windermere our luxury boathouse is the

perfect place to start your honeymoon. With a hot-tub on the private terrace overlooking the

lake, it is arguably one of the most romantic places to honeymoon in the Lake District.

your special requests, so if you would prefer Afternoon Tea to a formal meal we will make
