For the past thirteen years, we have worked with dozens of Democratic Congressional Offices by providing legislators and staff with a wide array of innovative phone technology strategies to directly interact with constituents back home.   Our most powerful tool is the Telephone Town Hall, which melds a traditional form of communication with a 21st century web interface to create an interactive Congressional Town Hall meeting. Telephone Town Halls allow for a two-way conversation with constituents, giving both participants and the member a chance to be heard. The event starts with a phone call to the constituent with a short message from the member asking them to simply stay on the line to join the conversation. Once the constituent joins the Telephone Town Hall they are able to listen to the member, press buttons on their phone keypad to respond to polls or even ask a question live after being screened by your staff. The event feels a lot like a radio call-in show, except you remain in control the entire time. Using an online interface you can start poll questions, screen participants and select which constituent should ask their question live on the event. Features

Easy to Use Web Interface: The entire event is controlled through a web interface, allowing your staff to start poll questions and bring constituents live. It is easy to use, and unlike many vendors, we are there with you every step of the way to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Training: All of the speakers, moderators and screeners are fully trained on site by our staff to ensure the event runs smoothly.

Participant Call-In and Live Webcast: For those that miss the invite call the night of the event, they can use a toll-free line to call into the event and fully participate. Many Member’s offices that we work with advertise the call-in, along with streaming the event live on their house.gov website, providing unique social media opportunities.

Scripting: We work with your team to carefully script the event in order to maximize participation and impact. We have years of experience working with the franking office to ensure that events and messaging are fully compliant.

Polling: With real time polling, participants can respond to questions on their keypad. This is a powerful way to gauge participant interest in important issues or for a constituent to request services from your office. After the event our team provides full data back on participant responses and requests that are easily uploaded into your office’s CRM.

Voicemails: At the end of the event all remaining participants are automatically connected to a voicemail system where they can record a short message for the member. After the event we’ll provide the voicemails to you so you can follow up with those who have additional questions.

Automated Event Building Call Programs

Building buzz and increasing attendance at in-person events back in the District is critically important for staff. Utilizing automated calls from the member to constituents informing them about scheduled in-person Town Hall meetings will not only ensure crowded events, but also demonstrate a member’s commitment, concern and dedication to hearing the needs of constituents. Stones’ Phones has also developed user technology that allows a member to personalize these automated messages. Working like mail merge, we start by having the member record common names, locations or any other variables in the district or state. We are then able to broadcast truly personalized auto calls, where each constituent is addressed by name and hears their own county, city or neighborhood mentioned.

Issue-Based Automated Surveys

Utilizing interactive automated technology, members can quickly gauge where hundreds, thousands or tens of thousands of constituents stand on particular issues of the day. Participants answer the call live and, using their telephone keypad, they can rate their level of support on particular legislation, providing the member and staff key feedback on important issues. By soliciting the views of constituents, members are able to build trust in the community and demonstrate their willingness to listen to their constituents.

Why Stones’ Phones? For over a decade, Stones’ Phones has been working with Democrats (We only work with Democrats and progressive organizations and Unions) on the Hill to bring their message directly to constituents through franked phone technology options. Our award winning team of strategists and staff will work to make every phone program runs smoothly. We are frequently recognized for unparalleled customer service and we will be on hand in the office to run each event, taking the operational burden off of the member and staff. Some of our Franked Clients include: Senate: Tom Carper (DE), Claire McCaskill (MO), Chris Murphy (CT), Harry Reid (NV) House: Xavier Becerra (CA-34), Ami Bera (CA-7), Julia Brownley (CA-26), Cheri Bustos (IL-17), Lois Capps (CA-24), Bill Foster (IL-11), Denny Heck (WA-10), Mike Honda (CA-17), Hank Johnson (GA-4), Annie Kuster (NH-2), Dave Loebsack (IA-2), Ben Ray Lujan (NM-3), Patrick Murphy (FL-18), Scott Peters (CA-52), Chellie Pingree (ME-1), Mark Pocan (WI-2), David Price (NC-4), Linda Sanchez (CA-38), Loretta Sanchez (CA-46), Kyrsten Sinema (AZ-9), Louise Slaughter (NY-25), Eric Swalwell (CA-15), Mark Takano (CA-41), and Mike Thompson (CA-5).

At Stones’ Phones we recognize the critical need for Members of Congress to speak directly with constituents and to hear their concerns, views and ideas. For the past thirteen years, we have been working with dozens of Congressional Offices providing Members and staff a wide array of innovative strategies utilizing phone technology to directly interact with constituents back home. Through interactive Telephone Town Halls, Automated Event Building calls, and Issue-Based Automated Polling and Record and Capture Calls your office can build deep relationships and trust with constituents.

Telephone Town Halls Unlike most tools, Telephone Town Halls allow for a two-way conversation with constituents, giving both participants and the Member a chance to be heard. The event starts with a phone call to the voter with a short message from the Member asking them to stay on the line to join the conversation.

Once the constituent joins the Telephone Town Hall they are able to listen to the Member, press a button on their phone to respond to polls or even ask a question live after being screened by your staff. The event feels a lot like a radio call-in show, except you remain in control the entire time. Using an online interface you can start poll questions, screen participants and select who should ask their question live. Polling has shown that participants feel a real connection with the Member, and they view the experience as a one-on-one conversation. Participants can then bring your message to their family and friends, building trust back in the Congressional District or state.
