STUDENT INSTRUCTIONAL DAY
• The student day is from 8:50-3:05
• Students will be invited into classrooms at 8:45
• Students will be considered tardy at 8:50 and need a late pass to
enter--morning announcements will begin promptly at 8:55
• Instruction will continue until 2:55
• Afternoon announcements will begin at 3:00
• Students will be called for dismissal following the afternoon
announcements
SAFETY DURING ARRIVAL
• STUDENTS SHOULD NOT ARRIVE AT SCHOOL BEFORE
8:30 a.m. School doors will remain locked until this time.
• They should line up at the designated areas where teachers
will be on duty.
• Kindergarten, grades one, two and LFI will line up in the all
purpose room.
• Students in grades 3-5 will line up in designated hallways outside
of the third and fourth grade clusters and the media center.
DROP OFF CIRCLE/BUS LANE
• Please be reminded that the front of the school is a PICK-
UP/DROP-OFF LOOP ONLY. Parked cars in this area only
serve to disrupt the normal flow of traffic and potentially
cause unnecessary accidents. Please, NO PARKING IN
THE PICK-UP/DROP-OFF LOOP! When picking up
students from dismissal, please do not loiter. For safety
reasons, the front area should be cleared promptly.
• Drop-off and pick up should not occur in the bus lane.
