STOEGER HISTORYSince 1924 the name Stoeger has been associated with both fine firearms

and as publisher of the Shooter’s Bible.

Stoeger products enjoy a solid reputation for affordable quality because of the technology

and expertise that Benelli USA has integrated within Stoeger’s manufacturing processes.

Offering a complete line-up of shotguns of every variety and gauge that include double-barrel

over & unders, side-by-sides, semi-autos, and pump-actions, Stoeger presents products for the

hunter and shooter, designed for every occasion.

Late in 1923, Austrian immigrant Alexander F. Stoeger issued a price list from his New York

City shop announcing that he was the “sole authorized importer for the United States and Canada

of the genuine Mauser and Luger Arms and Ammunition.” Among the fi rst fi rearms sold by

Stoeger were German Luger pistols.

In 1924-25, Stoeger issued his fi rst formal catalog adding information about the shooting sports,

including specifi cations for buckshot and lead balls and a listing of the state hunting seasons

for various types of game. Although it lacked the title, this was the fi rst edition of the Shooter’s

Bible. By 1931, the catalog proclaimed that the company was “the only exclusive gun house in

America” and even offered customers service in repairing fi rearms. In 1948 the Stoeger catalog

was formally titled the Shooter’s Bible. In the 1990s, Stoeger was purchased by the Finnish rifl e

manufacturer Sako and in 2000, Sako, along with Stoeger, was acquired by Beretta Holdings

S.p.A. At that time, Stoeger Industries, Inc. was placed under the ownership of Benelli USA.

STEP 4 Eject ion

As the empty shell exits the receiver, the energy of the moving bolt assembly re-cocks the hammer and compresses the recoil spring on the magazine tube. Th e recoil spring then thrusts the bolt assembly forward lifting the on-coming shell into position and chambering a fresh cartridge. Th e gun is ready to fi re again...in a fraction of a second!

STEP 3 R ecoil

Near the end of the recoil cycle, chamber pressure drops to a safe level and the gun’s rearward motion slows. Th e heavy inertia spring then thrusts the bolt assembly rearward, unlocking the rotating bolt head, extracting the spent shell from the chamber and pulling it against the ejector.

STEP 2 Fir ing

When the trigger is pulled, every part of the shotgun except the bolt body moves rearward. Th e curved track in the bolt body, which is moving forward relative to the rest of the gun, presses against the locking head pin, turning the bolt head even tighter into the barrel extension. At the same time, the inertia spring is compressed between bolt head and body. Th e cartridge drop lever moves up, allowing a shell to move from the magazine to the carrier.

STEP 1 Chamber ing

As the bolt assembly moves into battery, the locking head pin moves along a curved track in the bolt body to rotate the steel bolt head into engagement with the steel barrel extension. Th e cartridge drop lever is down, it’s red dot indicating that the gun is cocked.

T he advanced inertia technology that has proven itself

so reliable for many years, powers the same system

that drives Stoeger’s semi-auto shotguns.

The Inertia Driven® logo proclaims that the Model

2000 action features the patented inertia bolt with

its rotating locking head — the same system that has

given inertia operated shotguns their reputation for

being among the fastest cycling, most reliable shotguns

in the world.

The revolutionary inertia bolt has fewer moving parts

and eliminates the gas cylinders, O-rings and other

complicated parts of traditional gas-operating systems.

It also keeps the gun’s action cleaner, since gas and

burnt powder are kept in the barrel where they belong.

The Inertia Driven® system is the most reliable, cleanest

and fastest shooting system with fewer parts for slimness,

lightweight balance and ease of maintenance, and it’s

available in the hard-working Model 2000.

INERTIA SYSTEMThe advanced inertia technology utilizes a bolt with fewer moving parts

and elminates the gas cylinders.

T he Stoeger Model 2000 is licensed to use Benelli’s

Inertia Driven® operating system — the heart of the

world’s most prestigious and reliable autoloaders. The

Stoeger Model 2000 is Inertia Driven® with only two

moving parts in the bolt: the bolt body and the rotating

locking head. Simplicity ensures reliability and the Model

2000 is quickly gaining a reputation as the most reliable

semi-automatic on the market in its price range.

Unlike common gas-operated guns whose fore-ends

conceal pistons, O-rings, valves and other moving parts,

the Inertia Driven® system is primarily contained inside

the receiver. The results? A trimmer fore-end, better

balance, more reliable operation and the ability to fi re

everything from 11⁄8 oz. fi eld and target loads to the

heaviest 3" waterfowl loads without adjustments. And

because propellant gas isn’t vented from the barrel into

the operating system, Inertia Driven® guns like the Model

2000 stay cleaner, even after hundreds of shots. Even

under the toughest conditions, your new Model 2000

will keep on fi ring!

Reliability, versatility and value are what you expect in

a semi-automatic shotgun and no other semi-automatic

in its price range even compares to the Model 2000.

MODEL 2000No other semi-automatic in its price range

even compares to the Model 2000.

A cavity cut in the buttstock of the Model 2000 accommodates an optional mercury-fi lled recoil reducer.

Th e Model 2000 comes with a red bar front sight that helps the shooter pick up the target even in the low light often found when hunting.

Th e Model 2000 bolt assembly includes the inertia spring and rotating locking head, two features that distinguish Stoeger semi-automatics from the competition.

action bars for smoother, non-binding cycling.

There are nine different models of the Stoeger P-350

to choose from—an 18½" barreled home security model

gun is nicely balanced, quick handling and has the

stylish lines of guns that cost three times as much or

more. Equally at home on a sporting clays course, skeet

fi eld or trap range, the Condor Competition in 12- or

20-gauge, features ported barrels, a gold selective trigger

and automatic ejectors. The stock has an adjustable comb

and is available cast for either right or left hand shooters

and confi gured with a matching palm swell.

The Condor Competition is also offered in a two-barrel

same receiver. Both barrels measure 30" for consistent

balance and feel. Like the Condor Competition, the Combo

stock comes with either a right-or left-hand palm swell

versions to accommodate right- or left-hand shooters.

Elegant in understated style, the smooth, blued receiver

sports a high-polish fi nish. The safety, positioned on

Competition’s attractively fi gured stock is fashioned from

American walnut, and comes with an adjustable comb,

which adjusts both vertically and laterally and comes at

no extra cost. Cut-checkering graces the pistol grip and

fore-end for a positive gripping surface.

CONDOR COMPETITION & COMBOThe Condor Competition is equally at home

Ported barrels come standard on the Condor Competition. Barrel porting lets gas escape through the top of the barrel to help keep barrel climb to a minimum for a quick second shot.

Th e fully adjustable comb on the Condor Competition allows you to custom fi t the stock to your personal stock dimensions for whatever target game you favor.

A distinctive palm swell for both left-and right-handed shooters gives the Condor Competition a real custom feel. You’ ll swear the Condor Competition was made for you.

If your six-guns have ivory grips and your Model 73

statement—you need a Coach Gun Supreme. Traditionalists

will want the classic blued receiver and barrels, while more

progressive shooters might lean towards the stainless

receiver that provides corrosion resistance and an

attractive contrast with the blued barrels.

The polished nickel-plated model was quite the rage in

frontier times and is still eye-catching and distinctive

at any range. No matter which one you choose, you’ll

have a striking and distinctive fi rearm in your hands.

All Coach Gun Supremes come with AA-Grade gloss

walnut stocks and beaver tail fore-ends. All three models

are fi tted with a soft rubber recoil pad and feature

extensive cut-checkering in a border-point pattern. An

attractive trigger guard gives the Coach Gun Supreme

a more refi ned appearance with smooth curves that

complement the double triggers. The 12- and 20-gauge

Coach Gun Supremes come with improved cylinder and

Although the Coach Gun Supreme was designed with

T he sawed-off shotgun, romanticized in hundreds

of Hollywood Westerns as the stagecoach guard’s

weapon of choice, is an integral part of the fast growing

sport of Cowboy Action Shooting. Competitors are

required to shoot a six-gun, a rifl e and a shotgun in every

match, so the demand for a value-priced, short-barreled

scattergun led Stoeger to develop the Coach Gun.

Available in blue, matte nickel or a polished nickel-plated

the Coach Gun is as handsome as it is affordable. For those

who prefer a distinctive appearance, the Nickel Coach Gun

The short-barreled Coach Gun also makes a potent
