    September 19, 2011 Stock s remain Cheap w i t h improving Technicals

The NASDAQ, NASDAQ 100 (NDX) and Philadelphia Semiconductor Index (SOX) have led

stocks higher since the August 9

    th

lows. The NASDAQ ended last week above its 50-day simplemoving average at 2607 with NDX above both the 50-day and 200-day at 2250 and 2290. TheSOX has an overbought daily chart and is above its 50-day at 367.67. The other major averageslag versus their 50-day and 200-day SMAs and their September 1st / August 31st highs at 11,717Dow Industrials, 1230.71 SPX, 4779 Dow Transports and 737.64 Russell 2000. The Dow and SPXended last week above my annual pivots at 11,491 and 1210.7, but with overnight weakness inworld markets these levels may not hold today. Seems like another week of two-way volatility.
