MARKET WRAP

Indian market ended down 1.0%; Nifty down 56 pts & Sensex down 182 pts.

RBI’s move; repo & reverse repo rate up by 25 bps at 6.5 & 5.5% respectively.

European markets were mixed with DAX up 28 pts, Dow future was down 5 pts.

Indian equity market ended down 1% due to inflation worries & concerns of slowdown in

economic growth. Nifty lost 56 pts to end below 5700 at 5688 & Sensex shredded 182

pts to end at 18970. European markets were mixed with DAX up 22 pts at 6011 & CAC

up 8 pts at 4042 while FTSE was down 20 pts at 5923. Dow future was down 5 pts.
