SECOND COLLECTION

Today's Second Collection is for the ongoing "Repair and Renovation" of our Church Buildings. The "R & R"

Collections will be helping us, in addition to the funds

from the Generations of Faith Campaign, to pay for the

Renovation of the Pope Francis Center. We ask all

parishioners to be as generous as possible. We THANK

everyone for their sacrifices and generous support!!

BI-ANNUAL PILGRIMAGE TO

WASHINGTON, D.C. Bishop DiMarzio has invited all parishes in the

Diocese of Brooklyn to join him on a Bi-Annual

pilgrimage to the Basilica of the National Shrine of

the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.

There are two options available:

a single-day option, and a two-day option.

The single-day option includes round trip bus

transportation to the National Shrine on

Saturday, October 27th and costs $50.

The two-day option (Friday, October 26th &

Saturday, October 27th) includes bus

transportation, 2 days of accommodations at

the Hilton in Arlington, Virginia, dinner,

breakfast, a guided tour of Washington, D.C.,

the visit to the National Shrine, and all taxes

and tips. Cost: Quad $238 - Triple $248 -

Double $268 - Single $353

In order that proper arrangements may be made,

Brenda in the back of the Church on Sunday if

you are interested in attending.

ST. MICHAEL’S PARISH FEAST DAY RAFFLE

ENGLISH LECTORS & USHERS NEEDED!!

We are in need of additional English Lectors and Ushers

at our English Masses (especially at the 5:00 PM Mass on

Saturday and the 12:00pm Noon Mass on Sunday).

ADULT SACRAMENTS

All Adults interested in receiving the Sacraments of

Baptism, Communion and/or Confirmation may register

for the “RCIA” (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) by

coming to the Rectory Office with your Birth Certificate.

Classes will begin during the first week of October. You

may also call the Rectory (718-768-6065) if you have any

questions or would like more information.

HEALING MASS, MONDAY JULY 30TH

We will have a Healing Mass tomorrow, Monday, July 30th

celebrated by Msgr. Healy (Padre Tomás) at 7:00pm.

This Mass will be celebrated in Spanish. All are invited!

FIRST FRIDAY HOLY HOUR

This Friday, August 3rd is the first Friday of the month.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will take place after

the 9am Mass and again at 7pm. The Spanish Mass will

begin at 8:00pm.

DAY TRIP TO LAKE WELCH

The CCJ (Caminando con Jesus) youth group is

sponsoring a trip to Lake Welch on Sunday, August 5th.

The bus will depart from St. Michael’s at 8 AM and will

return around 8 PM. The cost is $20 per person and

includes transportation and drinks - please bring your

own food, either as a picnic or to BBQ on a grill.

The deadline to register is TOMORROW, JULY 30TH.

PILGRIMAGE TO HAVERSTRAW

The Spanish Charismatic Prayer Group is sponsoring an

pilgrimage to the Marian Shrine in West Haverstraw on

Saturday, September 1, 2018. The bus will depart from

St. Michael’s at 7:30 AM and will return at 6:00 PM.

The cost is $35 per person.

PEREGRINACIÓN A WASHINGTON, D.C.

El Obispo DiMarzio ha invitado a todas las

parroquias de la Diócesis de Brooklyn a unirse a
