FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY 2017

SPIRITUAL HEALTH:

➢ We experienced God through our personal encounter with God and

shown our love towards others.

➢ Day by day our knowledge towards the bible is increasing through reading

the bible one chapter everyday.

➢ Now and then inspirational spiritual stories are told by our sisters which

increases our thirst for the spiritual life.

COMMUNITY LIFE:

“Community is our first mission”

➢ We had a recollection on 11.02.2017, Father from Gunelien congregation

was the resource person for the day.

➢ Sisters are happy in the community and doing their responsibility according

to their conscious.

➢ We had a relaxation and recreation from which we got the energy to our

mind and body, and this in turn strengthened our community life.

➢ Sr. Merinas & Sr. Manisha went to Kanyakumari to attend Mass on

22.02.2017 to 25.02.2017

➢ On 15.02.2017 Sr. Sabeena with other

nearby communities went to Bishop

house to wish Bishop for his Birthday.

PASTORAL MINISTRY

➢ We regularly take Catechism class at our Parish.

INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENT

➢ We are developing our knowledge through various spiritual books,

magazines.

EDUCATIONAL MISSION

MEETING / SEMINARS

➢ On 16.02.2017 Mr. Anbazhagan attended IMS meeting regarding RTE at

Senkundram, Holy Shyle Mat. Hr. Sec. School.

➢ Mr. Anbazhagan went to RMJ Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, Thiruvallur on

17.02.2017 to receive Special cover for SSLC Board Examination.

➢ Principal met the parents of the slow learners of Std. XI on 17.02.2017.

➢ Mr. Rajamani attended IMS meeting on 21.02.2017 & 22.02.2017 regarding

EMIS entry.

➢ Discussion regarding the school Silver

Jubilee was conducted on Saturday

(25.02.2017).

ACADEMIC

➢ HSC practical exam was conducted for Std XII during second week and

third week of this month (Phy, Chem, Biology).

➢ Weekly test was conducted from 06.02.2017 to 10.02.2017 for the class I –

IX.

➢ Computer Practical Examination was conducted on 16.02.2017 &

17.02.2017 for HSC.

➢ III Mid-term test was conducted from 14.02.2017 to 16.02.2017 for LKG &

UKG.

➢ Science Board Practical exam was conducted for Std X on 21.2.2017 &

22.02.2017.

➢ Model board Exam was conducted for Std X from 24.02.2017.

➢ Phonetics & Smart Maths was conducted on 24.02.2017.

MR VACCINATION CAMP

➢ Mr. Elumalai, M.L.A. inaugurated the Measles & Rubella vaccination

campaign on 06.02.2017, 07.02.2017 & 09.02.2017. 10 doctors, 20 nurses &

5 other officials from health department facilitated the same for the students.

ACHIEVEMENTS

➢ On 03.02.2017, 5 of our students participated in Chess competition

organised by DMI college of Engineering, Palanchur. Our school placed II

out of 28 schools. Winners were awarded cash and certificates.

➢ Tata Class Edge selected our school from South

Zone. Our Principal & Mrs. S. Rajalakshmi, Teaching staff

went to Mumbai for award ceremony on 06.02.2017 &

07.02.2017.

➢ The Collector Mrs. Sundaravalli honoured Shivalaya. D of Std. XI for her

excellent performance in Std X for the academic year 2015 – 2016 on

20.02.2017 at the Collector Office, Thiruvallur. Principal accompanied

the student.

➢ Winners of Value Educ. & Catechism Annual Exam were honoured at

Pastoral Centre, Santhome on 24.02.2017. Sr. Selvi and Mrs. Infant Christy

accompanied the student.

➢ J. Jeswin Joseph of Std VIII ‘H’ was selected for best Science project

(Hydrollic Robot) organised by Agni Ignite College, He went for Pothigai

TV Audition on 27.02.2017. Mr. Kannadasan accompanied the student.

GENERAL

➢ Staff Interview was conducted on 11.02.2017 (Sat).

➢ Interaction for PREKG and LKG was conducted on 11.02.2017 (Sat) for

the Admission for the Academic year 2017 – 2018. 78 parents attended

the same.

➢ Meeting regarding the Jubilee celebration was conducted on 11.02.2017

➢ Deworming tablet was given to the students of PREKG – Std. XII on

14.02.2017.

➢ Class group photo was taken for the students of PREKG to XII on

14.02.2017, 15.02.2017 & 16.02.2017.

➢ We honoured the winners of Children’s Day Competition, Academic

Club activities & Science Expo 2016 – 2017 during the department wise

Assembly.

➢ Selected candidates of I batch

interview attended written exam on

25.02.2017.

➢ II batch staff interview was conducted on Saturday (25.02.2017).

CELEBRATION

➢ On 18.02.2017 (Sat) Farewell day was

celebrated with a Grand Mass, the celebrant

was Rev. Fr. John Kennedy MMI, after the

Mass, students performed Culturals with a

lot of enthusiasm and joy. It was an

occasion for the outgoing students of Std. X & XII to look back at the

time that they spent in the Campus and the

education that they acquired during the

period. Dr. Prince Boas Edwin MBBS,

Alumni, was the guest for the day, he shared

his school life and the career experience.

During the programme we honoured the Top

Rank Holders and Full Attendance of Std X & XII for this Academic

year 2016 – 2017. The programme came to an end with a delicious lunch.

➢ Transport Day was conducted on 16.02.2017 & 17.02.2017 for PRE-KG

kids, in order to learn about the different types of transport. Models and

charts were exhibited.
