ST JOHNS

With the holidays over it seems like a great time to take a rest I personally cant think of a better way to do that than by relaxing with a good fiction story John Lymans novel Gods Lions The

Secret Chopel can be found on the shelf at St Johns Library

This is the first in a Christian thrill shyer series about a Jesuit Priest and a group called the Bible Code Team made up of scholars arshychaeologists code breakers and intelligence specia lists With wealthy characters and Gods help anyth ing and everything seems possible in this story Set both in Rome and Israel th e charshyacters must follow a code found in the Bible to help fight the forcshy

es of evil both human and demon

Well-developed characters and deshyscriptive settings help this quickshypaced story which keeps the reader

guessing as to what will happen next If you have enjoyed reading any of Dan Browns novels then this is a book not to miss as it seems very similar in style Lyman uses real places and fact mixed with mytholoshygy the supernatural and a whole bunch of fiction to form his story

Gods Lions is filled with action faith and a little bit of romance making it enjoyable for readers of all types The book is the first in the series so expect to be left hanging on some of the story line Don t worry however because St John s Library owns all

four books in the series so you wont be searching long for the next one Another interesting note is that John Lyman is the brother of one of our parishioners Susan Lymon-Krom

Su mmoned to Rome by an old friend a Jesuit scholar finds himself using a code discovered in the Bible to unearth an ancient hidden chapel in the catacombs under the city When a rogue force of Vatican securishyty officials are alerted to his discovshyery the priest flees to the Holy Land with a clue a clue that will lead him and a team of Israeli Christians to a much larger secret in the middle of the barren Negev Desert -Gods
