HAPPY EASTER SEASONWe pray that you all have a Blessed Easter, and that it be a day of family gatherings and celebrations. The New Life promised by Jesus is one that is lived out TODAY, and the family is our first environment where we find ourselves, and so it is there where we will encounter the Resurrected Lord.We want to thank all who participated in our Holy Week Services, all who helped make our services prayerful and beautiful, and all who attended our Easter Celebrations. Easter saw more people here than we usually see at St Ferdinand …can we encourage some to celebrate more consistently during the year? What can you do to encourage some to come more regularly?…perhaps an invitation from you, or perhaps a word of encouragement and support from you? Think about how you might be able to do something life – giving, allowing the resurrected life and power of Jesus to affect others.HAPPY EASTER SEASON!

NOCTURNAL ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT

Sandwich Sunday and Clothing DriveNext Sunday (April 27th) is Sandwich Sunday. We start bagging lunches at 10:00 am in the parish hall. We are in need of the following items: individually packaged chips and cookies, bottled water (16.9 fl. oz.) and fruit (oranges and/or apples). These items can be brought to the rectory. Please mark the items Sandwich Sunday. We will also be having a clothing drive every Sandwich Sunday. Clothes can be dropped off (only) at the parish hall between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. on Sandwich Sunday. You can also get a tax write off for your donation. The lunches and clothing will be picked up by MEND.

FELICES PASCUASEn nuestra oración pedimos que todos ustedes tengan una Bendita Pascua, y que sea un día de reuniones y celebraciones familiares. La Vida Nueva que nos prometió Jesús la estamos viviendo HOY, y es en la familia donde primeramente encontraremos al Señor Resucitado.Queremos agradecer a todos los que participaron en los servicios de Semana Santa y Celebración de Pascua. Y a todos los que ayudaron a hacer nuestros servicios bonitos y llenos de oración. Nos da mucho gusto ver mucha más gente de la que no vemos durante el año. ¿Podemos animar a algunos de ellos que celebren más constantemente durante el año? ¿Qué puedes hacer tú para animar a otros a venir más regularmente?... ¿tal vez una invitación tuya, o tal vez unas palabras de aliento y apoyo? ¿Piensa en algo en como animar a estos hermanos?¡FELIZ TEMPORADA DE PASCUA!

DOMINGO DE SANDWICHEl próximo domingo 27 de abril es Domingo de Sándwich. Estaremos haciendo lonches en bolsa desde las 10:00 AM en el patio del Salón Parroquial. Todas las donaciones pueden ser llevadas a la rectoría. Por favor márquelas: Sandwich Sunday. Necesitamos donaciones de: cajas individuales de chips, bolsas de galletas individuales, agua embotellada de (16.9 oz.) y fruta (Naranjas y/o manzanas. También tendremos una colecta de ropa cada Domingo de Sándwich. La ropa la puede dejar solamente en el salón parroquial entre las 9:30 am a 11:30 am.
