Approaching the 635m boxes BLUE ZEST (1) was severely hampered when KINGSBRAE CAROL (2) shifted in and COMBAL ZERO (6) galloped on its heels. BLUE ZEST (1) was examined by the GRNSW Veterinary Surgeon and injuries were found to both the shoulder and hind toe.

BEWITCHED STAR (5) dwelt at the start. ANOTHER NORRIS (4) shifted to the inside after the start hampering HESA REBEL (3) who was forced into DAB LIVY DAB (10). Rounding the bottom turn SORE FEET (6) shifted ground bumping SPOOKY SENSATION (7) who then came together with FLASH GEE (8) on its outside. At the same time DAB LIVY DAB (10) eased off the heels of HESA REBEL (3). ANOTHER NORRIS (4) and SORE FEET (6) raced tight in the back straight vying for the lead. ANOTHER NORRIS (4) finished the better over the concluding stages.

JIMARY SIESTA (2) eased off the heels of JIMARY GIZMO (4) through the catching pen. SMOOTH CLAUDIA (1) moved up on the inside of VISIGOTH (8) entering the home straight to take the lead.

LUCY LIZZIE (6) was checked between runners FONIC LASS (1) and SAINTY BONUS (8) after the start. Approaching the home turn SAINTY BONUS (8) was making a forward move when PIECOST (3) shifted out abruptly causing SAINTY BONUS (8) to lose momentum. SAINTY BONUS (8) was dragged down from behind by LUCY LIZZIE (6) in the home straight both greyhounds almost falling. LUCY LIZZIE (6) was examined by the GRNSW Veterinary Surgeon and no apparent injury was found.

RED COAT (1) lead into the back straight and into the home straight where it shifted ground allowing JOHN SAID THIS (5) to take the lead on the inside. GUNDAL COMMANDO (4) was examined by the GRNSW Veterinary Surgeon and found to have a bruised toe.

JESSIE’S STAR (2) and DAINTY JAY (6) came together through the catching pen both losing balance. In the back straight JESSIE’S STAR (2) was caught between OGODEI STAR (5) and DAINTY JAY (6) as a result JESSIE’S STAR (2) was checked back through the field. Approaching the home turn BOGAN LEGEND (1) was moving forward when galloping on the heels of DAINTY JAY (6) to lose ground. BOGAN LEGEND (1) was examined by the GRNSW Veterinary Surgeon and found to have a split webbing.

Connections of HARDLY WHAT (10) were advised the greyhound would be endorsed with GAR rule 69A Failing To Pursue 28-days suspension Lismore and must perform a satisfactory trial before nominating all venues per rule 72.
