Item 1- Call to order / roll call to determine the presence of a quorum. After determining the

presence of a quorum, the meeting was called to order at 2:02 PM.

Item 2 - Public Comments: None

Item 3 - Review, discuss, amend and approve ACCC Meeting Minutes (For Possible Action). A. February 24, 2020

This item was tabled to till the next meeting.

Item 4 - Review and Discussion on Board Meeting Actions

B. Jennifer Nash, Board Liaison

Jennifer Nash explains the new continuing competency has had its final edits and will go into

effect August 1, 2020. She also adds there are new documents that have been created for

continuing education credit for professional activities.

Katherine Joines questions how licensees will receive credit or if they will receive credit for

approved certification courses even if the licensee doesn’t pass and get their certification.

Jennifer Nash explains that if it is an approved course they would get the credit however; the

licensee has to abide by the course guidelines. The board made the decision they would not get

15 extra credit hours for the actually certification they would just get the credits for the

approved course.
