Did Peter get it right?

Some possible reactions:

• Anger

• Rejection

• Embarrassment

• Self Pity

• Cynicism

• Divisiveness

• Withdrawal

Some possible solutions:

Understand what Christian leadership is

• It’s a call to serve

• It’s a call to sacrifice

• It’s a call to suffer

• It’s a call of God

Some possible solutions:

Understand that we all have a calling

• God has a plan and a purpose for the life of every Christian

• We are all called to serve

• What matters is not your public profile, but your private obedience

• The only celebrity in the church is Jesus

How did Justus handle NOT being one of The People Jesus Chose ?

He didn’t have to…

… he WAS one of the people Jesus chose…

… and if you are a Christian so are you!

He chose us in him before the foundation of the world,

that we should be holy and blameless before him.

In love he predestined us for adoption as sons…

(Ephesians 1:4-5)
