Steve has worked in five secondary schools in three different Local Authorities. This included 4 years as Deputy Head in West London prior to being the Headteacher of a Buckinghamshire Upper School for 13 years.

Steve joined the SIS initally as a Senior Adviser some 8 years ago leading on workforce reforms, performance management and staff restructing and he undertook work for the TDA as a national trainer.

Steve then became the Divisional Manager for the School Improvement Service leading and managing the service and overseeing the School Improvement Partner function whilst operating as a SIP himself in a neighbouring LA.

In recent months, Steve and his Senior Leadership Team have taken the service through a restructuring programme in response to financial and educational changes.
