DAY 1: Monday 22nd October, 2012 Australia – Dubai

An evening flight from Australia (Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane) takes us through to Dubai where we have arranged for the hotel rooms to be available on arrival.

DAY 2: Tuesday 23rd October, 2012 In Dubai BFollowing an early morning transfer from the airport to the hotel you will have time for a shower and change. Later in the morning enjoy a guided tour of this amazing new city and we have allowed some free time for resting or shopping, with lunch and dinner at your own choice and cost.

DAY 3: Wednesday 24th October, 2012 Dubai - Athens

BD 3 NIght StayToday we fly from Dubai to Athens, where on arrival we will be met and transferred to our selected hotel at the base of the Acropolis and in view of the Parthenon. The afternoon is free, then we will enjoy a welcome reception in the Garden Lounge.

DAY 4: Thursday 25th October, 2012 The Acropolis and Sightseeing BDWe meet our walking tour guide in our hotel this morning where a short walk brings us to the famous Areopagus where we pause to read Acts 17:15-34, then ascend the Acropolis for a walking tour of the ruins of the Parthenon. Making our way back down, you will have tickets for the City Sightseeing Hop on – Hop Off bus to take in the city’s main attractions.

DAY 5: Friday 26th October, 2012 ATHENSBA mixture of sightseeing and free time, you will have tickets for the City Sightseeing Hop on – Hop Off bus or maybe take a tram journey to the coast to enjoy a lunch sitting on the beach before returning home. Lunch and dinner at your own choice and cost.

DAY 6 : Saturday 27th October, 2012 ATHENS – EMBARKATION

BD 7 NIGHT STAYMorning at leisure in Athens for any last minute sightseeing or shopping. We then drive to Piraeus Port and embark our cruise ship, with time to explore the ship’s common areas before getting underway.

DAY 7: Sunday 28th October, 2012 THESSALONIKI – VERIA Worship

BLDWe will share in a time of worship on the ship then arrive in Thessaloniki where we visit the Walls, The House of Jason where Paul lived and the Agora where he preached. Continue to Veria (ancient Beroe), to the memorial commemorating Paul’s preaching to the local Jews in 54 AD. Acts 16

DAY 8 : Monday 29th October, 2012 KAVALA – PHILIPPI

BLDKavala (ancient Neapolis), the site where Paul, Timothy and Silas landed on the coast of Thrace. From there, visit Philippi where Paul lived, preached and was imprisoned and the Baptistery of Lydia, where the first baptism on European soil took place.

DAY 9 : Tuesday 30th October, 2012 ISTANBUL

BLDWe pass through the Dardanelles – the stretch of waterway so vigorously defended by the Turkish Army during the attack on Gallipoli, and in the morning we arrive in Istanbul, one of the world’s greatest historic cities. Formerly Byzantium, the centre of the Eastern Roman Empire, this city is built on seven green hills and situated astride two continents. East meets West in every way. We visit the Sultan Ahmed (Blue) Mosque with its six minarets, and St. Sofia, converted to a mosque from a Christian basilica after the fall of Constantinople in 1453.

DAY 20: Saturday 10th November, 2012 Arrive in AustraliaThis morning we will arrive back in Australia.

DAY 15: Monday 5th November, 2012 IMPERIAL ROME

BDThis morning you will discover Imperial Rome. Paul wrote to the Christians of Rome and he eventually went there where his ministry continued, although he was technically a prisoner. You will experience the glory of Imperial Rome when you visit the Coliseum, famous as a place of spectacle and death. Gladiators died here as thousands looked on. See the Circus Maximus, built during the reign of Nero. This huge stadium was able to seat 250,000 spectators for chariot races and other spectacles. See the Roman Forum, an ancient meeting place, market place, religious and political centre. View the Arch of Titus that commemorates Titus’ conquest of Judea. You’ll visit the Mamertina Prison, where it is believed that both Peter and Paul were imprisoned Acts 27 - 28.

DAY 16: Tuesday 6th November, 2012 CHRISTIAN ROME

BDYou’ll discover the Vatican Museum, home to many of the world’s masterpieces. Enter the Sistine Chapel and view Michelangelo’s frescoes, which have been restored to their full, colourful glory. Tour St. Peter’s Basilica where Michelangelo’s “Pieta” -- the only work signed by the master -- will be just one of many highlights. Travel along the famous Apian Way. Walk through the Catacombs of San Sebastiano. Visit Tre Fontane, where the Apostle Paul

DAY 13: Saturday 3rd November, 2012 DISEMBARKATION - CORINTH – BRINDIS (ITALY)

BDWe end the cruise on Ocean Majesty then travel direct to Corinth where we visit the ruins of the old Corinth, see the site of the workshops where Paul would have carried out his trade of tent making with Aquila and Priscilla and visit the museum (Acts 18). Continuing to Patras we join an overnight ferry for the journey to Brindisi (Italy) and our coach comes with us on this journey.

DAY 14: Sunday 4th November 2012 POMPEII – ROME Worship BD 3 NIGHT STAYDisembark the ferry and begin the tour of Pompeii, where you will visit the spectacular ruins that were covered by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79A.D. The city remained buried and undiscovered for almost 1500 years until excavation began in 1748. These excavations continue today, providing insight into life during the Roman Empire. Drive to Rome for overnight.

DAY 10: Wednesday 31st October, 2012 DIKILI – PERGAMON

BLDA tour from Dikili (our port) is to Pergamon, the great city of Bergama and a city of the Book of Revelation (Revelation 2:12). It is one of the best-preserved ancient sites in Turkey. We continue by visiting Sardis, the most picturesque of the Seven Churches (Revelation 3).

DAY 11: Thursday 1st November 2012 KUSADASI - EPHESUS – MILETUS BLDArrive at Kusadasi. Visit Ephesus, the most impressive archeological site in Turkey, including the Great Amphitheatre where Paul spoke to the Ephesians. An afternoon tour to Miletus, where Paul delivered his touching farewell address to the elders of Ephesus and predicted his death. Acts 19:1-41 Revelation 2:1

DAY 12: Friday 2nd November, 2012 PATMOS

BLDPatmos, the “Holy Island” for the Christian faith. This is the place where the apocalyptic Revelation of John was written during his exile from the Roman Empire. We visit the cave and the monastery of St. John, Revelation 1.
