Stepping into Success: Taken from the insight of a Web Design and Development Practitioner

Dreaming for success, same as dreaming for some other things in life is given to everyone for free. In this regard, no one can make any excuse not to dream. As long as we are breathing, we can form our dreams and mold each into reality.

Expecting every dream turning into reality is what everyone really wants. And on every reality, everyone again dreams of bringing each realized dream into a success. Yes, everyone wants success. That success that will bring them from one level to another. Borrowing Maslow’s words on his hierarchy of needs, everyone needs to attain that utmost level of self-actualization, wherein everyone will be concerned of his/her personal growth and on fulfilling his/her potential. On that phase of our life we can say that success is at already at hand.

But attaining success is easier said than done. A lot of us might be hearing people sharing about how to become successful, how to achieve our dreams, and stuff like that. But behind all these, people know the truth that in order to achieve success, one must undergo a process. On this

process is where we shall practice everything that we learn from different people’s success stories. And further, we will also share our own success stories with our own process done to attain it.

In Solutions Resource, we just had someone talk about one of the ways on how to achieve success. It was on August 30 when Russel John Villanueva, one of Solutions Resource Inc’s Web design and development

practitioner, had given his insights when it comes to stepping to success. He then discussed two different views on how people go onward success or going backwards from it.

The first view is the Have-do-be attitude. This attitude is what people shall not consider doing in life for in this view, people will not start acting towards the attainment of success unless he/she has first benefited from it. In this case, the drive to success is the benefit alone. The undesirable part of it is when someone does his/her work without joy or passion on it. The only thing that drives him/her to finish a task is because of responsibility.

The second view shared by Russel is the Be-do-have attitude. This attitude is the ideal path to go through when it comes to achieving success for in this process, people will first learn how to set their minds on how the process shall be faced. It is on this process where people are willing to undergo every path joyfully until the time comes that the HAVE, which in this case is success, will just be coming along the way.

Success is really not that easy to be achieved. Success cannot be achieved especially when you let mediocrity eat your being. In attaining success, one must learn how to enjoy every process that the reward requires. When one is willing to go through the process, then attaining success is far from being hard to get.
