Position Overview
The NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) is responsible for the management of the NSW Government’s social housing portfolio. The Department of Family and Community Services (FACS) delivers services to the most disadvantaged individuals, families and communities in NSW through local community based programs.The NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) is a Public Trading Enterprise within the Family and Community Services cluster. LAHC owns and manages the Government’s public housing portfolio of some 130,000 properties within New South Wales. Future Directions for Social Housing in NSW sets out the Government’s vision to transform the social housing system over the next 10 years with LAHC playing a critical role in delivering the benefits of this new and innovative model for social housing.
This role will be supporting a number of teams within the Corporate Services division, and have the opportunity to rotate among the following functions: HR, Legal, Procurement, Risk Management and WHS.
Some of the typical duties may include:
• Preparing documents, briefing notes, reports and correspondence.
• Providing administrative support and coordination of programs and projects for the Corporate Services team, including copying, distributing and filing documents, creating, maintaining, storing, retrieving and monitoring files through effective use of TRIM system, and general office administration.
• Coordinating a range of short-term projects, programs and events.

Second last or final year of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree
Australian citizens and permanent residents only
