Stephen has spent most of his career working, living and traveling around the world - building and growing businesses at the local, regional and global level.

Most recently Steve was the Worldwide Director, Global Fragrance Development, for Colgate-Palmolive where he reorganized the corporate Fragrance Development group ($350MM cost center). Steve designed and implemented Brand Fragrance Strategies and a new, cross-functional development process, while streamlining and significantly strengthening the portfolio with superior, preferred fragrances.

After completing his MBA at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, Stephen joined the Colgate-Palmolive Company, and rapidly progressed through a series of marketing, commercial and strategic planning assignments – often creating new Organizations and business processes. He has been consistently recognized for strong strategic thinking, collaborative leadership, and a bias to action and achieving results.

Throughout his career, Stephen most enjoyed living and working abroad, and helping local partners achieve both their commercial goals and their career aspirations. He thrives in the role of team-mate, mentor and leader. He takes pride in creating simple solutions when faced with complexity.

When not at work, Steve enjoys travel (He has almost reached the milestone of visiting 100 countries) and cultural enrichment. World music, jazz, running and playing ice hockey are other notable interests. Stephen is intrigued with ‘fusion’ across artistic forms. Sharing a ‘sense of adventure’ and ‘celebrating success’ with his family are his greatest joys.
