MUSIC BAND MARKETING PROJECT

The recently formed funk band Little Donna needed a strong online presence.As promoter and marketing designer, I built social media pages on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. I designed artwork such as the band logo and business cards using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, and organised photo and video shoots and studio recordings for publicity and music videos. Followers increased across social media; on Facebook, numbers rose by 50% in three months. The band also secured a high-profile festival gig in front of 1500 people.

LOGO DESIGN

The cake baking start-up company, The Baking Tin - London, is a cake company that specialises in gluten-free cakes for special occasions. They were looking for a contemporary, regal, solid design.

Little Donna is a funk/rock band that needed a logo to match their sassy, beat-orientated music and feel. The 80s-era yet modern style logo was drawn from scratch in Adobe Illustrator works best in vibrant pink and blue colours. The band and their fans love the logo!

LOGO DESIGN

MTG needed a poster to entice workers to volunteer at an Age UK tea party. I designed one with a traditional feel to reflect the royal theme. The poster was printed and displayed around the office as well as on internal social media, resulting in over 10 people volunteering.

An informative poster was urgently needed for an MTG cake sale. I had a day’s turnaround to complete a bold and simple design. The posters were printed and displayed around the office, and also distributed over e-newsletters. As a result, over 30 cakes were entered and £722 raised.

KIT AND CREW MARKETING PROJECT

The camera facilities company Kit and Crew needed a social and digital media campaign to entice new followers and stronger interaction.I created posts on Facebook, analysing the Insights to determine the best type of content and time of day to post. I also created artwork such as promotions using the Adobe CC Suite, and built and distributed newsletters using Mailchimp.
