Over the last 25 years Rugged Systems has

developed a clear understanding of demanding

operational environments, user requirements

and procurement cycles. This knowledge has

enabled Rugged Systems to successfully

deliver hardware solutions to customers

worldwide including a bespoke range of rugged

printers, mobile printing solutions, military

laptop computers and ruggedised display

solutions.

Over the years this market has evolved and

expanded from being mainly driven by military

requirements to include commercial semi-

rugged, vehicle solutions and rugged tablets to

other demanding environments.

Steatite Rugged Systems specialises in value-added Rugged

Mobile and handheld computing solutions as well as specialist

communication products and services.

needs of this rapidly expanding market has

engineer an operating system to enhance the

reliability of your embedded system. Combined

with the ability to supply legacy Windows

operating systems for a minimum of 10 years

from launch, a Windows Embedded O/S is the

ideal platform for your embedded system.

CUSTOM CHASSIS DESIGNOur highly qualified team of mechanical

engineers are able to design a chassis to suit

your specific application, meaning you won’t have

to compromise on your system design. Including

custom branding and support for low volume

manufacture.

DISPLAY SOLUTIONSWe can provide a wide range of panel PCs and

monitors designed for use in commercial and

industrial applications. In-wall, panel, rack and

desk mounting solutions are offered, as well as

integration into a custom enclosure.

LONG TERM SUPPLYOur hardware selection allows us to offer the

same embedded system for up to 7 years.

Steatite Q-Par Antennas was formed after the acquisition of Q-par

Angus Ltd in May 2013. Having been at the forefront of microwave

design and manufacture since 1973, this division excel in the

research, development and manufacture of microwave

components and antenna systems across the entire radio

frequency spectrum.


Our products include antennapositioners, a vast range of antennas,including horn, omni, sinuous and spiralantennas, subsystems and bespokecomponents. Research based activitiesare regularly undertaken, includingdevelopment studies, rapid prototypingand technical concept studies.

This capability is supported by a specialist microwave laboratory

and comprehensive test facilities, ensuring that our products

continue to meet or exceed our customers' expectations, whilst

maintaining the most stringent quality standards.


Our highly qualified and experienced Microwave Engineers are able to exploit state of the art RF modellingsoftware in order to resolve complex problems in a very wide range of RF/Microwave areas. Our team of skilled engineering craftsmen work in close collaboration with our mechanical engineers to manufacture components of the highest quality.
