HALF BOTTLES


F.X. Buckley discovered Webersburg, a boutique winery located in the beautiful wine region of Stellenbosch, while

travelling in South Africa. It has a winemaking history going back over two hundred years with incredible original

cellars built in 1786. The vineyards are located on exceptional granite soils on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountains

where they benefit from the cool sea breezes. This small winery has a limited production of premium fine wines

which reflect the unique Helderberg terroir. With low yielding vineyards, Webersburg produces a classic style of wine

with an elegant ageing potential all resulting from the careful attention to detail in the vineyard and winemaking.

At Webersburg they believe in minimal intervention during the barrel maturation of 18 to 22 months based on an

unhurried ageing philosophy allowing the wines to mature in bottle for a further 2-4 years before release.
