AMERICAN GODS Season One

The on-screen adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s enormously popular novel of the same name posits a war brewing between old and new gods: the traditional gods of biblical and mythological roots from around the world steadily losing believers to an upstart pantheon of gods reflecting society’s modern love of money, technology, media, celebrity, and drugs. When Shadow Moon is released from prison, he meets the mysterious Mr. Wednesday and a storm begins to brew. Left adrift by the recent death of his wife, Shadow is hired as Mr. Wednesday’s bodyguard. He finds himself in a world where magic is real, where the Old Gods fear irrelevance and the growing power of the New Gods, and where Mr. Wednesday seeks to build a coalition of Old Gods to defend their existence in this new America, and reclaim some of the influence that they’ve lost. As Shadow travels across the country with Mr. Wednesday, he struggles to accept this new reality, and his place in it.

ASH VS EVIL DEAD Season Three - Coming in 2018

STARZ Original series “Ash vs Evil Dead” stars Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams, the chainsaw-wielding anti-hero tasked with saving the world from evil. Lucy Lawless plays Ruby, the unpredictable foe and occasional ally who has strong ties to the origin of the “Necronomicon.” Ray Santiago plays Pablo Simon Bolivar, Ash’s loyal sidekick and eternal optimist. Dana DeLorenzo plays Kelly Maxwell, orphaned in Season One and ready to kick some evil ass. The third season finds Ash’s status in Elk Grove, Michigan has changed from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero. Evil wages war on the Ghostbeaters but this time, they have an army behind them. Blood is thicker than water in the battle of good vs Evil Dead! The Evil Dead original filmmakers Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell serve as executive producers with Ivan Raimi. Craig DiGregorio serves as Executive Producer and Mark Verheiden serves as Showrunner with Producers Aaron Lam and Moira Grant.

BLACK SAILSSeason Four

The Emmy®-winning Original series “Black Sails,” sold in nearly 200 countries worldwide, takes place 20 years prior to Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic Treasure Island, and follows the most feared pirate of the day, Captain Flint (Toby Stephens). Created by Jonathan E. Steinberg and Robert Levine, “Black Sails” is executive produced by Steinberg, Levine, Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, Andrew Form, Chris Symes, Brad Caleb Kane, and Dan Shotz. The fourth season of the stand-out high seas drama brings fans to the heroic conclusion of the Treasure Island prequel, and finds our pirates at war in the West Indies. The shores of New Providence Island have never been bloodier, but the closer civilization comes to defeat, the more desperately, and destructively, it will fight back.

COUNTERPART Coming in 2018

STARZ Original series “Counterpart” from MRC, Anonymous Content and Gilbert Films is an espionage thriller with a metaphysical twist starring Oscar® winner JK Simmons. “Counterpart” is the story of Howard Silk (JK Simmons), a lowly cog in a bureaucratic agency, who discovers that the agency he works for is really guarding a secret crossing into a parallel dimension. Through Howard and his “Counterpart” on the other side, the show will navigate the themes of identity, idealism, and lost love. “Counterpart” is created and written by Justin Marks (Jungle Book) with Oscar®-nominated (Imitation Game) Morten Tyldum set to direct the first two episodes.

NUDEDocumentary Film premieres October 29, 2017

The feature-length documentary “NUDE” explores perceptions of art, nudity and censorship in the social media environment by chronicling the creative process of treats! magazine founder Steve Shaw and his team as they cast, design, and commission photographer David Bellemere to photograph a new collection of nude photographs to debut at Art Basel in Miami. The film documents the search for and casting of 12 unknown models using social media to explore the notion of beauty as a commodity while exploring Bellemere’s roots in Paris and how his artistic style was formed. The film is directed and produced by Anthony B. Sacco and produced by Josh Shader.

Often considered E.M. Forster’s masterpiece, “Howards End” is the story of two independent and unconventional sisters and the men in their lives seeking love and meaning as they navigate an ever-changing world. Academy Award®-winning screenwriter Kenneth Lonergan brings a fresh take to this adaptation directed by BAFTA winner Hettie Macdonald. Margaret Schlegel (Hayley Atwell) is an intelligent, idealistic young woman who is courted by the older Henry Wilcox (Matthew Macfadyen), a self-made conservative businessman, after his wife Ruth Wilcox (Julia Ormond) dies unexpectedly and he becomes owner of Howards End. Meanwhile Margaret’s passionate and capricious younger sister Helen Schlegel (Philippa Coulthard) takes up the cause of Leonard Bast (Joseph Quinn) a young bank clerk who falls on hard times at work and at home with his partner Jacky (Rosalind Eleazar). In the absence of their late parents, the sisters’ loving but interfering Aunt Juley (Tracey Ullman) tries to keep the young ladies and their brother Tibby (Alex Lawther) on the straight and narrow.

Ghost can’t outrun his past choices and mounting enemies this season, which threaten his freedom and his family’s safety at every turn. His fight for redemption brings him face-to-face with the Feds, the media, new allies, and old foes. But the biggest obstacle for Ghost remains himself and his internal struggle between the man he wants to be and the one he really is.

SURVIVOR’S REMORSESeason Four

THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCESeason Two premieres November 5, 2017

“The Girlfriend Experience” is an anthology series inspired by the 2009 Magnolia Pictures film of the same title that explores the relationships between exclusive courtesans and their clients, for whom they provide far more than just sex. These purveyors – or GFEs (Girlfriend Experience) – share intimacies more common to romantic partners or husbands and wives, becoming quasi-lovers and confidants who are richly paid for their time. Oscar® and Emmy®-winner Steven Soderbergh serves as an executive producer along with independent filmmakers Lodge Kerrigan and Amy Seimetz, who will also write and direct on the series. Philip Fleishman also serves as an executive producer. Season Two will break from last season’s format and follow two parallel stories each with entirely new characters, relationships and plotlines. One storyline is set against the corrupt political underbelly of campaign fundraising as the U.S. mid-term elections approaches, and the second storyline follows a GFE provider forced to relocate to a remote location in New Mexico and change her identity but can’t seem to shake the ghosts of her past.

THE MISSING

Second Installment

The second installment of the Golden Globe® and Emmy®-nominated limited series “The Missing,” is a dramatic thriller that explores the murky morality and emotional complexity of what happens when a missing child actually returns. The anthology series features a new case and characters, set in a new location. Brothers Harry and Jack Williams return to the series as writers and creators with Ben Chanan directing all eight episodes.

THE WHITE PRINCESS

Drawn from the novel of the same name by Philippa Gregory, and part of The Cousins’ War book series, “The White Princess" sees England ostensibly united by the marriage of Princess Elizabeth of York (Lizzie) and King Henry VII, but their personal and political rift runs deep and the divide between them threatens to tear the kingdom apart once again. Rumors circulate that Lizzie’s long-lost brother ‘The Boy’ (aka Prince Richard aka Perkin Warbeck) is alive and planning to take the throne– forcing Lizzie into an impossible choice between her new Tudor family and the boy who could be her own blood and the rightful York King. “The White Princess” is a tale of power, family, love, and betrayal, which charts one of the most tumultuous times in British history uniquely from the point of view of the women waging the ongoing battle for the English throne.

Wolfe recently served as Chief People Officer for Eleventh Hour Entertainment and spent more than a decade at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), the world’s leading entertainment and sports agency.

JOE GLENNON Executive Vice President, Affiliate Sales

Glennon oversees all of the network sales activities for the core Starz premium pay TV businesses with multichannel video and digital distributors in the United States. Glennon most recently served as Executive Vice President, Distribution at AMC Networks, where he oversaw distribution activities for AMC, WEtv, IFC, Sundance Channel, Fuse and IFC Films. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President, Distribution at Fuse. Glennon began his career in the cable business at Discovery Communications.
