rowing up in a single-parent household, Jade Hooper wasn’t used to life being easy. Right after she got married, she was working full time as a hairstylist, and her husband had a great job. Then the bottom

dropped out. She got pregnant, he lost his job and she found herself being the sole income provider. But she wanted to stay home with their son. When he turned one, she started looking. “I needed to find something I could do from home,” she says. “I was aware of the direct sales industry, but I didn’t know which company I should join.”

She discovered It Works! on Facebook and signed up using the money she should have spent on her phone bill. That was in August 2013. “Within the first six months, I had paid off $30,000 in debt,” she says. “Within our first year, we were able to purchase our first home. My mom and I had always rented little houses and apartments. Owning a home was never on my radar, ever.”

Her husband was able to quit his full-time job and they spend their time traveling, another luxury that wasn’t part of her upbringing. “We’ve gone to Disney World like six times,” she says. n
