Sick leave in the 1st half of 2010 was 3.4, which is on the level with Statkrafts goal of
under 4%.
The Statkraft Group has recorded a stable and low sickness absence rate over many
years. The sickness absence in 2009 was 3.3 percent. The goal is to have sickness
absence under 4 %. All of the Business Units in Statkraft report sickness absence. This
absence is followed up actively and in cooperation with the Company’s health Service.

HSE RESULTS- SAFETY INCIDENTS
Performance:
During the 1st half of 2010 eleven lost time incidents for our employees were reported. This means an LTI
rate has improved from of 3,8 compared to 3,0 for the same period in 2009 as a result of increased worked
hours. There were four loss-time injuries in Skagerak Energy, two in new growth markets and Power
Generation, and three in Customers.
Statkraft has registered 22 injuries at Group level in the first half of 2010 compared to 24 for the same
period in 2009. In addition there were 17 injuries reported among subcontractors to Statkraft. All incidents
are investigated tin order to understand the factual circumstances around the incident and the root and
direct causes of the incident

Statkraft has established an European Works Council on the
basis of EU Directive 2009/38/EU
Purpose
In addition to the EU directive, Statkraft wants to by following the international standards of ILO.
Statkraft's board of management will maintain a dialogue with the SEWC on all matters of fundamental
importance to the interests of employees across geographic, legal and organisational structures, in
addition to HSE.
ScopeThis Agreement applies to all Statkraft companies within the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA).
Other countries can be considered by the SEWC.
CompositionCountries with more than one field office and more than 25 employees will be represented on the basis
of headcount.

WORKS COUNCIL - MEETINGS
European Works Council will meet twice a year
Group Works Council meets minimum twice a year,
but more meetings are usually necessary.
Power Generation Works Council meets monthly.
Local Councils meet at least four times a year.
HSE is always in the agenda in the meetings of the
Works Council
