The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), is scheduled to begin work on a $10 million project to widen SR 619 through portions of Lake Township and the Village of Hartville in early May. This project will include significantly widening SR 619 from its current two lane condition to five lanes, which will include two lanes in each direction and a center turn lane for motorists to utilize. The project limits will expand from Kaufman Ave. to Milan Ave. The project also includes the addition of new turn lanes at some intersections, roundabouts at the SR 619 and Kings Church Ave. intersection and the SR 619 and Kaufman Ave. intersection. Work also includes drainage repairs, new sidewalks and new signals. Work is scheduled to be begin in May 2017 and be completed by late June 2020. The project will be built in two sections. The west end of the project, spanning from Hoover Ave. to just west of the Comfort Suites hotel, will be built first. The east end of the project, from just west of the Comfort Suites hotel to east of Milan Ave., will be built later. • One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction on SR 619 except for brief periods where traffic will be maintained by flaggers while temporary pavement is being constructed.

• Traffic will be shifted to the north side of SR 619 on existing and temporary pavement and two way traffic will be maintained.• Williamsburg Rd. will close for one day.• In the spring of 2018, the existing Hartville Marketplace Dr. will be closed and a new Hartville Marketplace Connector will be opened. A temporary traffic signal will be installed at this location.

During this time the northern portions of the roundabouts will be utilized.• Kings Church Ave. south of SR 619 will be closed (it cannot be closed at the same time as Market Ave. south of SR 619.)• Kaufman Ave. will reopen.
