Art- Integrated Learning (AIL) is a Pedagogical Tool. It is introduced by
CBSE for imbibing the Indian ethos through integration of Indian art and
culture in the teaching and learning process at every level. This art-integrated
approach will strengthen the linkages between education and culture.
This project work is defined under “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat
Programme”
Endowed with incredible natural beauty, Meghalaya is one of
the most beautiful states in northeast India. Literal
meaning of Meghalaya is “Adobe of clouds”. The state
shares its border on the north and east with Assam and on
the south and west with Bangladesh. It is the wettest
region of India. The capital of Meghalaya is Shillong also
known as the “Scotland of East”.

Folklore is defined as stories, customs, and beliefs in a culture that
are unwritten and passed down orally from generation to generation.
Like any other part of the world, India too has its own share in the
folklore. These folklore changes from state to state. We will move
towards the North-Eastern part of India, to the state of Meghalaya.
Meghalaya also has a lot of stories that are passed from one
generation to another.

Read any two folk lore of the state. On an A3 size sheet, write the
details of the stories that you have read. Include points like-
Theme of the story
Main characters of the story
What you liked in the story
Moral from that story.
Give a cover page to the folklore you read. Make it neatly, beautifully.
Prepare one of the story for a narration to your classmates after the
break.

For Points 2 and 3:
Write in figures and words using Indian place value system

Express these numbers in expanded form
Find the sum of place values of the digits at even places.

border options to make your report attractive.
