Automated (onshore) choke manifolds are over-engineered, designed for offshore certifications,
& uneconomical.
High costs accompanying basic mobilization, frequent repair/maintenance, and support.
Less desire to innovate in competitive, oversaturated land markets where value is underrated.
Customization & flexibility is non-existent. The next piece of the puzzle is to improve manifolds:
