The Franklin Celebration - Last month we celebratedFranklin Loehde's 65th year as a member of the RASC. Franklinhas played an important role both with the RASC and also inEdmonton's science community, helping found the EdmontonSpace and Science Centre, which is now known as TELUSWorld of Science.
At our December 2017 meeting, TWOSE and the EdmontonSpace and Science Foundation joined us in celebrating Franklin.Franklin will be moving to North Carolina soon. If you have notyet had a chance to say good-bye, he will most likely beattending the regular RASC meeting on Monday January 8, soyou can give him your greetings then. Many thanks to AlanNursall and Cathy Barton of TWOSE for organizing thewonderful reception!
