Stanford Lures are made from the highest grade Northwest cedar. These lures produce a more realistic sound and hunting action than other crankbaits on the market. Stanford lures have more natural buoyancy and a uniquely tighter wobble due to the denseness of the high grade cedar used. This helps the lure suspend for longer periods of time in the strike zone, on a stop and go retrieve and/or when they come into contact with cover.

All our lures are made 100% in the USA, and we use only the best components. Each lure is hand painted and then hand tuned, by Dieter Stanford himself, before it becomes a quality Stanford Lure.

From the Deep Big Cedar grinding on the ledges in the summertime, to the Top-water around beds in the spring, to the Razor shad on those frosty fall mornings, Stanford Lures have you covered!

When twitching this top water bait through the water, the Turbo Shad displaces water to either side with both props and provides a proven fish catching sound. Upon returning to stationary, the Turbo Shad will sit slightly back on the tail end to ensure better hook ups and reveal the enticing profile of a wounded shad or bream.
