Why RLS Metal Systems?

RLS Metal Systems onsite panel production system offers many advantages over

traditional factory manufactured metal systems. Delivery of flashings and accessories is direct

from our shop to your jobsite. All panels are roll-formed on site while the installer checks and

places them at desired location. By field verifying all panel lengths before production, waste is

virtually eliminated! Onsite manufacturing also ends shipping damage to panels, thereby saving

cost and time waiting for replacements. These benefits combine to practically eliminate roofing

product cost over runs and could even bring project in under estimated costs.

All painted metal products are manufactured from quality Drexel Metals Kynar coated

metals. These metals have a true 35 year non pro-rated paint finish warranty!

Drexel Metals weathertight warranties further protect building owners against improper

installation, installers that don’t stand behind their work or those that disappear altogether. Once

a project passes all inspections, Drexel Metals assumes responsibility for weather tightness of roof

for the duration of warranty period.

All panels can be manufactured in any custom width from 12” – 24”.

Mechanical Systems require hand or power seamer to finish seam.

RLS will manufacture any custom flashings required for project.

All flashings and accessories listed with system are designed to work

with that system. Many flashings and accessories are the same for

all systems.

Please contact your RLS Metal Systems representative when installing Drexel Metals products in salt environments. In

order for their Galvalume limited warranty to be effective in environments with a salt atmosphere or relative to bodies

of salt water the following criteria must be adhered to:

Application in proximity to a coastline with surf, the distance from the coast must be at a minimum of 2,800

feet.

Application in proximity to a large Bay, the distance must be at a minimum of 1,200 feet.

Drexel Metals offers site-specific warranties as well as care and maintenance guidelines for the post installation care of

your metal roof. Contact your RLS Metal Systems representative for more information.

documented with written reports and photos. Drexel Metals Weathertight Warranties with no dollar limit are
