We accept orders in writing only via fax or email to ensure that your order is correct. Cancellation or modification of orders must be submitted to Schoolhouse Products in writing. In some cases a cancellation fee may be charged if manufacturing is in progress or special products or colours are involved.

PRICES All prices shown are FOB our warehouse, Markham, Ontario & are subject to change without notice. Freight charges for shipments are prepaid & added to invoice unless indicated otherwise.

TERMS Invoice terms for credit accounts are NET 30 days. Orders are invoiced on day of shipment. Schoolhouse accepts Visa, MasterCard. Credit card will be charged on day of shipment.

SHIPPING LEAD TIMES Schoolhouse stocks furniture year-round as part of our Quick Ship program. Quick Ship items are designated in the catalog with colour & approximate lead time availability. Quick Ship lead times may

extend during our busy summer season. Non-Quick Ship lead time is 4 to 6 weeks, though this may extend during our busy summer season. Approximate shipping date is set upon receipt of order. Every attempt will be made to meet that shipping date. However, it is subject to change without prior notification.

DELIVERY Shipments are sent prepaid with charges (if any) added to invoice. Product shipping weights are for product only. LTL shipments usually are on pallets. Pallet weights will be added to total weight for

LTL shipments. Normal shipments do not include beyond dock &/or closest door delivery. Inside delivery requests need to be on the order & appropriate charges will be added. NOTE: Schoolhouse Products & its carriers are not responsible for damage or shortages after the delivery receipt is signed without a damage or shortage notification.

FREIGHT Do not refuse freight because of damage or shortage. All merchandise is packed to comply with carrier requirements. For your protection all shipments should be carefully inspected by the consignee before acceptance. The delivering carrier should be requested to record on the delivery receipt any damage to goods or cartons at time of delivery. Also any shortages should be noted on the delivery receipt. If further damage is found after delivery, immediate inspection by the delivering carrier must be requested. The delivering carrier must be notified at once of concealed damage. All cartons &

merchandise must be held for inspection. Carrier liability ceases after 15 days. Schoolhouse Products will assist our customers at all times to obtain claim settlement, but the consignee must take the necessary steps to obtain the proof of loss & damages.

RETURNS Merchandise may not be returned without consent from Schoolhouse Products customer service. Returns must be in the original packaging & in resalable condition.

Special order &/or made to order items may not be returned for credit. All return merchandise is subject to a minimum 25% re-handling fee & shipping charges. No merchandise is accepted for return after 90 days from date of invoice.
