H-Frame PressesDake offers hand, air, and electrically operated H-frame presses in 10 to200 ton capacities, insingle- and double-actingmodels. These presses are ideal for assembly,straightening, fabrication,quality control, main-tenance, product testing,bending, forming, punch-ing and shearing.

Press frames are con-structed of heavy-dutyarc-welded steel and can be easily modified to accommodate a widerange of pressing needs.Steel cylinders arefabricated of heavy-walledtubing, which is seamlessto prevent leaks and isroller burnished on the IDto ensure long packing life.Workheads move easilyon ball bearings, whileeasy-to-read gauges andcontrols are located at con-venient working heights.

■ Electric platens: Theself-leveling, electricallyheated, water cooled,precision ground steelplatens are pre-wired intothe control panel. Heatingelements are replaceable.

■ Precise temperaturecontrol: Each platen has its own complete set of controls includingadjustable thermoswitch,built-in thermometer,power switch and pilotlight. Temperatures areaccurately controlled from100° to 600°F.

■ Hydraulic system: Aunique pump designprovides a rapid advanceof the ram utilizing thehigh volume- lowpressure portion of thepump. When the downstroke of the pump leveris used, the pump auto-matically converts to thehigh pressure-low volumeoutput providing accuratecontrol and easyoperation. The carefullyconstructed hydraulicsystem enables thepress to hold pressurefor extra long periods oftime. The release valveon the side of the pressenables the operator to adjust the pressureaccurately as well asaccomplish gradualdecompression or fastopening of the press.
