A. Objective

The objectives of workshop are :

1. Improving participant’s understanding of statistics that can be

implemented on life.

2. Persuasive change into a better or more productive life pattern with the

science delivered.

B. Scope and Related Units

The scope and related units is Statistics and Quality Engineering

Laboratory and other parties that participated are as follows:

1. Head of Statistics and Quality Engineering Laboratory

2. Assistant of Statistics and Quality Engineering Laboratory

3. SMEs and other institution that related

C. Related Quality Standard

The quality standards associated with holding workshops are the

standards of the researcher, content standards, process standards and

assessment. This is because when conducting workshops need to fulfill the

contents of the study related also with the condition of the institution or SMEs

will be given knowledge. During the workshop the participants are expected

to follow the process well and the assessment can be done by measuring the

understanding after the workshop

D. Terms and Definition

1. Workshop is an activity to provide knowledge that is invites and

encourages a person to perform actions intended by the speaker.

Workshop activities are designed and implemented by the Laboratory of

Statistics and Quality Engineering to develop the ability of participants in

producing a work or product that is expected to support their duties in the

institution.

E. Sequence of Procedures

1. The Quality Statistics and Engineering Laboratory determines the

institution or SME as the partner of the workshop.

2. The Administration Division makes a letter of application to the relevant

agency or UKM regarding workshop activities.

3. The Quality Statistics and Engineering Laboratory holds a coordination

meeting on the workshop concept and the science to be delivered.

4. Assistant of Laboratory of Statistics and Quality Engineering make activity

proposal to be sent to related institution.

5. If the agency agrees, the workshop proposal is approved.

6. The Quality Statistics and Engineering Laboratory prepares all necessary

for the workshop.

7. The Quality Statistics and Engineering Laboratory holds a workshop.
