As we pursue our ambition to join the illustrious ranks of Abbott World Marathon Major (AbbottWMM), we want to rally the nation, the region and the international running community to join us on this journey.
Every year, the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon is the event where individual stories and personal battles converge, and people from all walks of life run alongside each other, cheered on by a supportive community.
This is a race where no one has to lose so someone else can win, it’s one where we root equally for everybody to cross the finish line.

Subsonic Eye 6.00pm – 7.00pm Subsonic Eye is an alternative pop band from the hazy and rainy Singapore. Their sound combines the soothing algorithms of a digital synth, catchy guitar and vocal lines. Along with wielding pop melodies with restraint and embraces passages that drone on instead of build, they make the audience feel wistful nostalgia towards the memories they never even had.
Astronauts 9.00pm – 9.30pm, 9.45pm – 10.15pm Describing themselves as “voyagers of a new musical Describing themselves as “voyagers of a new musical frontier”, the Astronauts galvanise old-school R&B with slick new-age funk. Formed in June 2016, the Astronauts were brought together by the love of all things funky and soulful. Within the next year, they released their debut single Get Close, along with its accompanying music video.

Meeting runners after the race30 Nov (Sat), 7.00pm to 1 Dec (Sun), 3.00am There will be meeting points marked with elevated signs with the numbers 0 – 9 in the post-race area. These points would correspond to the last number on the runner’s bib. Family and friends are to be reminded beforehand on the meeting location to know where exactly to reunite with the runners after the race.Please be reminded not to congregate around the exit of the Recovery Area due to safety concerns.
Getting to the Meeting Point� Enter the Main Entrance of the F1 Pit Building via Raffles Ave x Raffles Blvd� Head down towards the Post-Race Area as shown in the map.Please note that you will only be able to access the F1 Pit Building from 7.00pm onwards. There will be a security check at every entrance of the F1 Pit Building.
