A NAVCO Classic Is Now Available in a Food-Ingredient-Friendly, Stainless Steel Update

Houston, (March 29, 2016) -- The BH Series Bin/Hopper vibrator employs the same linear vibration technology that National Air Vibrator Company was founded on in 1955. Sixty years later, the addition of the stainless steel BH 1 1/4 to this product family represents an important expansion of this product line. Stainless steel construction, multiple porting options and simple design makes this technology compatible with the kind of controlled production environment found in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Operation and Construction

The BH 1 1/4 is generally applied to hoppers with a wall thickness of 1/16” to 1/8". The Stainless steel BH 1 1/4 can be ported in three different ways to direct the already minimal exhaust outside of a sanitary environment. A coated piston and bore are standard on the stainless steel vibrator so it remains reliable even without lubrication.

Focus on Safety

Technical Sales Manager, Trey Gros, said, "While NAVCO already has years of experience providing material flow solutions to the food and chemical industries, NAVCO is proud to address an increasingly safety conscious environment.” Owner and Engineer, Mark Neundorfer echoed the sentiment, “Although NAVCO’s roots are in heavy industry, it continues to develop solutions for the food and logistics industries, such as vibratory tables, Magnevibe and Extendovibe."

The BH Family

The BH series of industrial vibrators are designed to eliminate bridging, ratholing, and other material flow issues as bulk material approaches a chokepoint in hoppers, bins and other conical patterns. Like other members of the BH series, the stainless steel is available in a variety of options including impacting, sinusoidal and timed impacting. The BH family ranges in size from the three pound BH 1 with a piston one inch in diameter to the BH 8 which weighs 650 lbs. and has an eight inch piston.

NAVCO proudly manufactures the BH series in the United States. The BH series is supported with material testing, bin mapping, field service and an excellent network of distributors in the United States and Canada.
